All works are carried out to BS6187:2011 Code of Practise for Demolition Works. All projects are undertaken – Commercial, Residential, Local Authority, Police, Prison service, MOD and Heritage works.
Our investment and maintenance of our modern fleet of machines / plant enables the works to be carried out using the latest technology, minimising risks and also the impact upon the environment. Specialist attachments include – pulverisers, selector grabs, multi processors and breakers.
Supervisors are either CCDO (National Demolition Training Group) or SSSTS (CITB) certificated. All other operatives are CSCS, CPCS as well as manual handling, abrasive tools, PASMA certificated. All operatives are also asbestos awareness trained under Category B asbestos training module.
Materials arising from the Demolition works are sorted on site to ensure maximum recyclying is obtained in keeping with Enviromental issues and disposed of at licensed recycling / waste centres.
J.Harmes Demolition Ltd are licensed waste carriers and are able to dispose of materials in house which enables optimum service. All materials disposed / recycled are recorded under our Duty of Care Waste Management files can be produced upon completion of the projects. Alternatively using mobile crushers we are able to recycle valuable materials on site that may be re-used within the future development.
